So I've been wanting to do a stop motion skate video (with all girl/women skaters) for quite some time. I've been trying to gather up some females, but haven't found enough to start it all up. Hopefully in the next year I'll have it. =)
In the meantime watch this AMAZING video made from cut out skate photos.

There Is Xerox On the Inside Of Your Eyelids....
is the name of the art show currently going on right now at the Torrance Art Museum. Todd and I decided to head down to the opening of this show in support of some old Torrance skate buddies Todd used to share a ramp or two with. The show was a celebration of 80's skate zines, fliers and photographs. Curated by Rich Jacobs with artists including Andy Jenkins, Spike Jonze, Bruce Adams and many others.

I ran into one of my favorite photographers Chrissy Piper there. Check out her AMAZING work here
Andy Jenkins Bend Zine # 8 with Kelly Hart on the cover. You may recognize the name Kelly Hart because I did some photography for her awesome clothing line a couple years ago check it out here : Kelly Hart Clothing
And while you're there check out the art show going on next store entitled: The Rise of Rad: The Influence of the Urethane Revolution, curated by Max Presneill

Womanizer
This project was shot on video, over 2,000 frames were exported and effected in photoshop. Then they printed out each frame onto paper, cut them out, and had people all over LA hold them while they shot each one with a digital camera. Simply Amazing!

I Scream, You Scream...
We all scream for ice cream.
We have several ice cream trucks that pass by daily (at least 3). We always know when our favorite one is coming down the street because we hear the chimes of "Oh Susanna!" and for some reason weird horse sounds up in the mix of the song (??)It happens to be our favorite truck because they have soft serve ice cream with waffle cones. This day our favorite truck neglected us, but we still got our ice cream!!
I shared it with Matt Meower
Trixie became jealous, so I shared with her too
And even Conge wanted in on some of the ice cream action

Color Me Katie
I love street art. And I'm not talking about tagging or what I like to call "scribble scrabble". I'm taking about REAL art. The kind that adds beauty to a city. The kind that makes me you smile when you see it. The kind that Brooklyn based artist Katie Sokoler creates around her neighborhood. She finds beauty in almost anything and when you come across her art, it makes you appreciate the simplest things in life.
